- Accept speaking opportunities online and in-person.
- Create YouTube videos, either pre-recorded or LIVE – (I test my recordings with Zoom and watch my replay to make improvements).
- Podcast – if you don’t like being in front of the camera, be behind the microphone.
- Write Linkedin articles – Share tips and keep it brief to build your credibility as an expert in your field.
- Use Social media – it’s FREE, you don’t have to buy ads to start. Don’t be on every platform, start with one and build up).
- Cross-promote and let others know you are on another social media platform – for example, make a FB post letting that audience know you’ve just posted a LinkedIn article and vice versa.
- Build your eNewsletter – add your new customers when they on-board, ask your prospects if they’d like to receive it, add and also invite partners/vendors to write in the “expert’s corner” on their specialty.
- Networking – focus on like-minded events, focus on where you know your customers may be.
- Volunteer – Shows you care about a cause and gives your business exposure, donate time by organizing a team volunteer outing, donate money by organizing a campaign. Be consistent. Support a cause that is in line with your beliefs or mission.
- Buy a tee or polo with your logo on front and slogan & website on the back – wear it on the weekends and when you’re not professionally dressed.
I do all of these things, but I started slowly and added along the way. If you have questions, please reach out to info@hawkbg.com.
